Job Summary
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment while overseeing repairs for facility infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians through scheduling and performance reviews, and control the maintenance budget including spare parts inventory and vendor contracts. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and implement key performance indicators to track maintenance effectiveness. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and inventory control
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their application to maintenance processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
Desired Qualifications
- CMRP or SMRP certification
- Experience with CMMS implementation or optimization
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for maintenance performance tracking
- Experience managing facilities or utilities in addition to production equipment
