Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Manage overall plant maintenance and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure quality production at cost and schedule. Enforce safety, health, quality GMP, and company policies while participating in operational planning and staff meetings. Develop procedures to optimize manufacturing efficiency, maintain direct contact with Engineering for machinery improvements, and investigate breakdowns to reduce future occurrences. Control the maintenance budget, select and train shift personnel, and meet with vendors and plant visitors. May handle special projects related to other functional areas. 0-25% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree
- related maintenance experience
- equivalent combination of education and related maintenance experience
- minimum of five years' experience in a maintenance supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment
- demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Computer usage and typing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
