Job Summary
Oversee interior and exterior maintenance of the property, including mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, and minor repairs. Conduct visual inspections of equipment, actively participate in preventive building maintenance procedures, and report defective systems for immediate correction. Coordinate vendor and subcontractor activities while managing the department's budget, ensuring service manuals are followed and building codes are adhered to. Perform labor-intensive duties such as moving, lifting, and transporting materials up and down stairs, service ramps, and ladders. Maintain all mechanical components of the building and reflect daily activities in the schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or equivalent experience
- In good physical condition, capable of handling heavy materials and performing labour intensive duties such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 100 pounds without assistance
Desired Qualifications
- High school Diploma or College diploma in mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering, or an equivalent is an asset
