Job Summary
Maintain the condition of amenities and apartment homes to ConcordRENTS’ high standards, including fully preparing apartments for new residents and maintaining occupied units. Lead and supervise the Maintenance Department, providing safety instruction, technical direction, training, coaching, and performance evaluation; assign work and monitor progress. Ensure EPA logs, warranties, and safety documentation are current; coordinate with vendors and contractors; monitor inventories and preventive maintenance schedules. Address resident service needs through clear, caring communication; work independently with urgency and a solutions orientation; learn and use industry-leading technology. Proficient in painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, landscape quality control, and irrigation repairs. Willingness and ability to travel within regional portfolios; be available for on-call duty, nights and weekends; ensure move-in/move-out inspections and general maintenance of grounds, pools, and amenity areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification may be required to service pools
- EPA certification (Universal or Type I and Type II) required at hire or within six months
- Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity
- Supervisory/leadership experience in maintenance settings
- Ability to transfer knowledge to others on the team
