Job Summary
Maintenance Manager - First Shift at Conagra Brands’ Macomb facility responsible for leading the plant maintenance function to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability. Role includes managing the maintenance budget, overseeing contractors, driving safety, GMP/USDA compliance, and coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and the Reliability COE. Requires 5+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing, knowledge of PLCs/controls, experience with SAP Plant Maintenance, and familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies. Relocation assistance is available; position is on-site in Macomb, Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or technical field preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of PLCs and controls systems
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, reliability practices, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance or similar systems preferred
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared, or ultrasound preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
