Maintenance Manager

Plan, schedule, and coordinate the daily work of the Facilities Technician team to ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance meet high standards of quality and conservation. Serve as a key site representative on a rotating schedule, providing operational support, decision-making, and cross-departmental coordination. Maintain meticulous records of repairs and renovations using a Computerized Maintenance Management System and conduct regular walkthroughs of all structures and mechanical systems. Enforce safety standards, manage fire/intrusion detection systems, and respond to alarms or estate emergencies within a strict 20-minute window when on duty. Recruit, train, and coach the Facilities Technician team while building a high-trust culture rooted in transparency. Oversee the care, preservation, and daily operations of the historic house, expansive gardens, and natural areas under the general direction of the Director of Facilities.
