Job Summary
Maintenance Manager leads a multi-site team of maintenance personnel, supervises area maintenance managers as needed, and ensures a safe working environment. Responsible for coordinating with Operations, managing external contractors, overseeing daily activities and projects, developing and tracking maintenance and capital plans, implementing safety programs, and mentoring maintenance staff. Requires coordination with Safety, Operations, Engineering, and Finance, budgeting, and participating in network-wide maintenance activities. Travel up to 20% and a strong focus on safety, preventive maintenance, training, and leadership of facilities teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ experience in the distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent experience in the mechanical or electrical field
- Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, industrial PC literacy
- Six Sigma Certification
- Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Ability to travel to various sites as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
