Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the Morehouse, Louisiana wood pellet manufacturing facility. Develop and execute plant maintenance strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency while managing budgets, resources, and small capital improvement projects. Champion safety culture by fostering a healthy workplace and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, improve KPIs, and utilize CMMS for work orders and inventory. Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, RCM, and TPM methodologies to enhance equipment availability and operational efficiency. Lead, coach, and mentor up to 20 team members to build a high-performing culture while ensuring procedures and training remain current. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures to maintain quality and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
