Job Summary
Oversee Maintenance Department at a wood pellet facility; lead maintenance personnel (up to 20); coordinate maintenance and repair work with Operations; utilize CMMS to execute work orders and build maintenance history; apply Lean/Six Sigma tools (SMED, Kaizen, Kanban); lead plant-improvement initiatives; ensure technicians are trained on procedures; monitor plant equipment and systems; champion Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) to improve reliability; collaborate with Reliability and Operations to implement best practices; develop and implement maintenance policy and strategy to maximize efficiency; mentor and coach maintenance staff; direct workflow and drive productivity while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards; communicate company goals and expectations across all levels; require strong communication skills and continuous improvement mindset.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 - 10 years maintenance or related experience with responsibility for maintenance on assets
- Previous supervisory experienced required
- High School Diploma
