Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee maintenance planning, budgets, and small capital projects while utilizing a CMMS to track work orders and inventory. Champion safety culture and compliance, partnering with Operations to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of up to 20 professionals to ensure procedures remain current and operational risks are mitigated. Report directly to the Plant Manager to maximize plant performance and equipment availability.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
