Job Summary
Maintenance Manager responsible for leading the Maintenance Department at a wood pellet facility, directing maintenance work processes, coordinating with Operations, managing budgets and TPM/RCM initiatives, and mentoring a team up to 20. Must drive plant reliability with KPI tracking, apply Lean/Six Sigma tools (SMED, Kaizen, Kanban), oversee training on updated procedures, and collaborate with Reliability to implement best practices while ensuring safety and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5-10 years of maintenance or related experience with responsibility for maintenance on assets
- Previous supervisory experience required
- High School Diploma (HS) or equivalent; engineering degree or related certifications considered a plus
- CMMS experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
