Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee departmental budgets, small capital projects, and CMMS systems to track work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime while championing safety culture and regulatory compliance. Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, RCM, and TPM best practices, mentoring a team of up to 20 professionals to maintain high performance. Ensure procedures remain current and implement risk mitigation measures to uphold quality and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
