Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee maintenance planning, budgets, and small capital improvement projects while utilizing a CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts inventory. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, champion safety culture, and implement RCM, TPM, and Lean methodologies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen and Six Sigma while coaching a team of up to 20 professionals. Identify operational risks and ensure procedures remain current. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager at Drax's wood pellet manufacturing facility in Morehouse, Louisiana, supporting the company's decarbonization goals.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
