Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee maintenance planning, budgets, and small capital improvement projects while utilizing a CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts inventory. Champion safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Operations to minimize downtime and improve KPIs. Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, RCM, and TPM methodologies, coaching a team of up to 20 professionals to maintain high performance. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures to drive productivity while upholding quality and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications are considered an asset
