Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, overseeing maintenance planning, reliability initiatives, and departmental budgets. Develop and execute plant strategies focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and RCM methodologies. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, manage maintenance KPIs, and utilize CMMS for work orders and spare parts inventory. Champion safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team of up to 20 professionals through coaching and mentorship. Identify operational risks, implement mitigation measures, and drive productivity while maintaining quality and environmental standards. Report directly to the Plant Manager in Morehouse, Louisiana.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
