Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee departmental budgets, small capital projects, and CMMS work orders while championing safety culture and regulatory compliance. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, implement Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Coach and mentor a team of up to 20 professionals to build a high-performing culture and ensure procedures remain current. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures to maintain quality, environmental, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
