Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility in Morehouse, Louisiana. Develop and execute plant maintenance strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency while managing budgets, resources, and small capital improvement projects. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory, and champion safety culture by ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and lead, coach, and mentor a team of up to 20 professionals. Ensure procedures remain current and implement risk mitigation measures to maintain quality and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
