Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility in Morehouse, Louisiana. Develop and execute plant maintenance strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency while managing budgets, resources, and small capital improvement projects. Champion safety culture by ensuring compliance with regulations and partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime and improve KPIs. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory. Support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) best practices while driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of up to 20 professionals to build a high-performing culture, ensuring procedures remain current and operational risks are mitigated.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications are considered an asset
