Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Manage departmental budgets, resources, and small capital improvement projects while utilizing a CMMS to oversee work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Coach and mentor up to 20 maintenance professionals to build a high-performing culture that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
