Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee maintenance planning, departmental budgets, and small capital improvement projects while utilizing a CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts inventory. Champion safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Operations to minimize downtime by implementing RCM, TPM, and Lean methodologies. Coach and mentor a team of up to 20 professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and identify operational risks with mitigation measures. Report directly to the Plant Manager in Morehouse, Louisiana, with a competitive salary, annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
