Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee maintenance planning, budgets, and small capital projects while utilizing a CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts inventory. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, champion safety culture, and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM best practices. Mentor a team of up to 20 professionals, ensure current training programs, and mitigate operational risks to drive productivity while maintaining quality and environmental standards. Report directly to the Plant Manager in Morehouse, Louisiana.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
