Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee departmental budgets, small capital projects, and CMMS systems for work orders and inventory while championing safety culture and regulatory compliance. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, drive continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and implement risk mitigation measures. Coach and mentor a team of up to 20 professionals to ensure procedures remain current and effective. Report directly to the Plant Manager in Morehouse, Louisiana, with a competitive salary and annual bonus opportunity.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
