Job Summary
Lead all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Manage departmental budgets, resources, and small capital projects while utilizing a CMMS to oversee work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory. Champion safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Operations to minimize downtime and improve KPIs. Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, RCM, and TPM best practices, mentoring a team of up to 20 professionals to maintain high performance. Identify operational risks, implement mitigation measures, and ensure procedures remain current.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
