Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage all maintenance activities and personnel across the wood pellet manufacturing facility, developing strategies focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency. Oversee maintenance budgets, resources, and capital projects while utilizing a CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts inventory. Partner with Operations and Reliability teams to minimize downtime, champion safety culture, and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and RCM best practices. Coach and develop a team of up to 20 professionals to ensure procedures remain current and operational risks are mitigated. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager in Morehouse, Louisiana, offering a competitive salary, annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of maintenance or related industrial experience with responsibility for maintenance assets
- Previous experience leading and supervising maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, asset reliability, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using CMMS software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and RCM principles
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Additional reliability, maintenance, or leadership certifications
