MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Job Summary
Oversee all maintenance operations within the food manufacturing facility, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant equipment and infrastructure. Lead team leadership for mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and predictive programs while managing budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships. Enforce compliance with OSHA, FDA, USDA, SQF, and HACCP regulations, promoting daily safety awareness and hazard elimination. Develop performance plans, handle talent selection and onboarding, and drive continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional production and quality teams. Manage controlled documents and training, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial Engineering or related field, and/or equivalent technical certification
- ten (10) years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Food production experience
- Waste treatment knowledge and experience
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, gas systems, liquid propane, boilers, refrigeration, and air systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Required to maneuver plant and warehouse workspaces
- Continually standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing, work around loud machinery and moving parts
- utilize hand and finger dexterity
- exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, wet, and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
- to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
- Frequently push, pull, and lift up to fifty pounds safely
