Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive schedules, emergency repairs, and work orders for guest rooms, public spaces, and mechanical systems. Supervise the upkeep of facilities to meet brand cleanliness standards while managing budgets, recruiting staff, and conducting regular safety audits. Respond promptly to guest concerns and collaborate with departments to resolve issues, ensuring compliance with all local regulations and health codes. Plan property improvement projects, source vendors, and manage timelines to enhance guest satisfaction and property value within the luxury hospitality sector.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in maintenance or facilities management
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- preferably in the luxury hospitality industry
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A problem-solving approach with an eye for detail
Desired Qualifications
- Degree/ Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrician or a related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of the English language
- Familiarity with mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and infrastructure
