Required Qualifications
- Respond and attend to guests repair requests
- Communicate with guest/customers to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces
- Inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Display above-average engineering operations skills and strong general mechanical ability
- Basic knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and finish work, kitchen equipment, energy conservation
- Perform surface preparation and minor repairs including painting and drywall, light bulb and A/C filter replacement
- Inspect and repair grout and caulking
- Maintain pool, chemicals, and pool equipment
- Test and troubleshoot equipment and electrical components
- Program TVs and perform related housekeeping/engineering duties
- Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Adhere to safety and security policies
- Develop relationships with all departments and communicate regularly
- Stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
