Job Summary
Develop and implement maintenance plans for Strohwig's CNC machines and auxiliary equipment, scheduling routine preventive tasks to minimize unplanned downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems across all facility equipment while coordinating with suppliers for repairs. Lead, train, and supervise the Maintenance team by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and machine history, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction. Work with aerial lifts and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a shop-based environment with moderate noise levels and physical hazards.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Great knowledge of safety regulations
- 10+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a man lift at high heights
Desired Qualifications
- College degree in the manufacturing field
- Apprenticeship or vocational training
- Experience in manufacturing management
