Job Summary
Oversee building maintenance functions, budgets, and vendor contracts for Camas Meadows, a new affordable housing community. Perform hands-on repairs including patching walls, cleaning appliances, and completing plumbing and electrical tasks to meet unit turnover timelines. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure procurement standards are met and maintenance contracts achieve quality and expense goals. This on-site role requires a high school diploma, three years of skilled maintenance experience, and technical expertise in building trades. Pay ranges from $28-32/hour with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, 15 days of earned PTO, and various paid leave options.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience in skilled maintenance work.
- Technical expertise in one or more building trade.
- Work in a collaborative manner and in a team environment.
- Define and solve problems.
- Comprehend and communicate in the English language, both orally and in writing.
- Present information to groups of people.
- Perform basic math and understand measurement systems used in the trade.
- Read and interpret electrical, plumbing, and mechanical diagrams and blueprints.
- Draft make working sketches.
- Use maintenance, trade, and testing equipment and tools.
- Effectively oversee work progress of vendors or outside contractors.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
