Job Summary

Coordinate with the Community Manager and Assistant Manager to increase net operating income by safely maintaining property interiors and exteriors within approved budget levels. Supervise maintenance staff, process purchase orders, and prioritize work orders to ensure timely repairs and resident satisfaction. Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems while implementing preventative maintenance plans and conducting regular safety inspections. Liaise with the property manager to respond to emergencies and report employee injuries promptly. Maintain meticulous records in computer software, secure competitive bids for supplies, and foster a skilled, drug-free team through mentorship and training. On-call for after-hours emergencies, this site-based role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and hazardous environments.

Required Qualifications

  • EPA certification
  • Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders and access various areas of the property
  • May be required to push or pull items and reach overhead
  • May be required to bend, stoop or kneel
  • May require dexterity of hands and fingers and ability to grasp tools
