Job Summary
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise all maintenance associates while conducting regular performance appraisals and providing feedback. Manage interior and exterior maintenance, repairs, and groundskeeping to ensure the community remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained for residents. Inspect grounds regularly, coordinate vendor services, and respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff. Maintain the Community Compliance Manual, prepare apartments for new residents, and ensure proper trash removal and disposal. Adhere to safety and OSHA requirements while working days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- 2-5 years previous maintenance experience
- multi-family housing environment experience
- Personnel Supervisory experience
- EPA 608 Type I and Type II certifications
- current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
- Understanding and ability to repair HVAC systems
- Understanding and ability to repair plumbing systems
- Understanding and ability to repair electrical systems
- Understanding and ability to perform basic carpentry
- Understanding and ability to repair mechanical systems
- Proficiency in computer skills such as Ops Technology
