Job Summary
Manage maintenance supervisors and engineers to lead daily department operations, analyzing downtime reports and coordinating repairs. Establish preventive maintenance plans for production equipment, approve work orders, and ensure documentation meets environmental standards. Execute shutdown activities by coordinating contractors and internal resources within budget, while performing root cause analysis on machine issues. Lead efforts to secure capital investments, train staff, and develop improvement action items based on OEE, MTBR, and MTTR data.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of electronics, mechanics, and fluid power
- Knowledge of equipment controlling software such as Siemens PLC Suite and Allen-Bradley Suite
- Knowledge of ABB robots
- Ability to use electronic diagnostics equipment
- Manual skills to operate tools and equipment when necessary
- Skilled in strategic planning and system set-up
- Ability to read electrical wiring and mechanical diagrams
- Ability to draw pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams
- Excellent oral and written language ability
- Basic understanding of trigonometry
- Excellent problem solving and reasoning ability
- Ability to follow written procedures and guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Ability to adapt department plans to changing business or customer needs
- Excellent project management skills
- Knowledge of ISO Environmental regulations
- Ability to lead others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or related field
- At least five years of maintenance leadership experience required

- Prior experience in forging strongly preferred
