Job Summary
Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities in a manufacturing/woodworking environment; perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, saws, edge banders, sanders, finishing equipment, and related systems; respond quickly to maintenance issues on the floor; schedule preventive maintenance to extend equipment life; ensure machinery and dust collection, air compression, and material handling systems operate safely and efficiently; ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, and manufacturing standards; assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and layout changes; coordinate with vendors and contractors; maintain basic maintenance records and reports; requires strong problem-solving, organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and rugged electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting capabilities; proficiency with Excel and Word; physical capability to lift to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ Experience in maintenance or facility management
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment a plus
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently
- Rugged knowledge on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Strong computer skills, ability to create reports in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Physical dexterity, able to lift to 50 LBS
