Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Oversee and steer the maintenance department to execute the maintenance strategy and ensure equipment, facilities, and machinery are functional and safe. Own CMMS administration and MaintainX integration, develop asset management with barcoding, and establish weekly PM schedules. Lead and develop maintenance teams, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts for tools and parts, and drive spare parts inventory planning. Collaborate across departments on R&M plans, lead EH&S compliance, and supervise troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Monitor budgets and implement standard maintenance practices, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize reliability, uptime, and cost performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration or facility management or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in maintenance management
- CMMS experience (MaintainX preferred)
- Experience supervising personnel (minimum 10 years)
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead budget and cost management
- Proven track record in interviews and onboarding of maintenance personnel
- Proven ability to negotiate with vendors for tools/parts
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration or facility management or equivalent experience
- Experience recruiting, developing, on-boarding, and managing maintenance teams
- Minimum 10 years of maintenance management experience
- Proven track record interviewing, hiring and on-boarding maintenance personnel
- Experience with CMMS (prefer MaintainX)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Budgeting and cost-control experience
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
