Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership to the Maintenance Department, developing and supervising a highly skilled team to optimize safety, quality, and equipment reliability. Ensure all work by reports and third-party contractors adheres to OHS standards, while maintaining quality protocols and enforcing good housekeeping. Manage capital projects to budget, liaising with suppliers to integrate new technology, and coordinate maintenance planning with the Maintenance Supervisor. Coach direct reports through performance management and frequent feedback, ensuring resources are scheduled to support manufacturing operations and achieve annual KPI objectives for productivity and OEE. This role reports to the Operations Manager at Atlantic Packaging's Brampton Corrugated Operations. Candidates require a post-secondary degree in a related technical discipline or valid trades certification, with management experience in the corrugated packaging sector highly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in a related technical discipline (Engineering)
- valid trades certification and technical training
- Management / supervisory experience leading strategic maintenance projects and activities within the Corrugated packaging sector
- experience leading maintenance programs within in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Proficient with Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) systems
- Strong communication skills

- Candidates who are 18 years or older
- complete a criminal and background check
Desired Qualifications
