Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance department, managing staff, ensuring safe operations, and maintaining plant equipment. Key duties include implementing maintenance programs, managing budgets, conducting performance reviews, ensuring OSHA compliance, and driving training for safety standards. The position requires at least five years of experience in maintenance and supervisory roles, progressively managing maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment. A high school diploma and an associates degree in a relevant technical field are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates degree in a related technical field or trade school certification
- Five or more years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work
- Five or more years of supervisory or management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in process troubleshooting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of CMMS software implementation and optimization
