Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Lead maintenance staff in all areas of food safety, personnel safety, and plant improvements while supervising outside contractors. Manage preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance projects using software to track completion rates and develop inventory systems. Hire, train, and evaluate the workforce to maintain a productive team, ensuring the facility remains audit-ready for GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and FDA standards. Improve plant systems through automation and new technologies while facilitating budgetary guidelines to reduce costs. Maintain a clean, safe working environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, working Monday through Friday with overtime as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in a Maintenance related field
- 5 years of progressive experience in a maintenance related leadership position
- Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test
- Ability to effectively prioritize and organize tasks
- Ability to maintain predictive maintenance of plant equipment
- Ability to input and analyze data into maintenance connection
- Ability to facilitate budgetary guidelines
- Ability to reduce cost
- Ability to enhance inventory systems
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, procedures, and plans
- Ability to write, complete checklists and other basic documentation and correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information or data in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Solid judgment when making decisions
