Job Summary
Lead on-site engineering team at Allied Bakeries in Belfast to optimise plant and equipment efficiency, oversee daily breakdowns, mentor staff, collaborate with production and quality teams to hit targets, drive maintenance planning (PPM) and cost-reduction initiatives, and uphold health and safety standards across all site activities.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline or Time served Apprenticeship
- 3-5 years experience of managing a team within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations/Legislation related to engineering
- Excellent Project and Cost Management skills
- Experience with change management and new technologies in FMCG environment
