Job Summary
Maintenance Manager overseeing maintenance operations for a 60-unit apartment community in Marysville, WA. Lead maintenance activities, supervise scheduling, respond to resident service requests and complete make-readies for vacant units. Conduct daily property walks, oversee landscaping and exterior upkeep, inspect equipment, train and develop maintenance staff, ensure safety audits are conducted, manage supplies and site maintenance budget, and provide input for yearly budget planning. Requires 2+ years of multifamily/property maintenance experience; ability to troubleshoot plumbing, electronic, HVAC, and appliance systems; on-site, not remote. EPA Type II or Universal license preferred; CAMT or related certification a plus. On-call for emergencies outside normal hours; collaboration with Property Manager and support for other 11 Residential locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in multifamily property maintenance, facility maintenance, or related field
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, electronic systems, appliances, HVAC, pool and spa equipment or other systems
- Experience with property maintenance software (HappyCo or similar) preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong integrity, teamwork, inclusion, growth, and customer service orientation
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying weather; able to lift and move heavy objects
- EPA Type II or EPA Universal license preferred; CAMT or related certification a plus
- On-call availability for emergencies outside normal hours
- High School Diploma/GED required; valid driver’s license; on-site work only
