Required Qualifications
- Ability to work 2nd shift - Hours from 4:00PM - 4:00AM
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including scheduled and unscheduled overtime
- Must be willing to learn how to operate a forklift, skid steer, and aerial lift
- Able to perform basic physical labor and maintenance
- Exhibits understanding of Nucor's safety culture
- Ability to communicate information effectively
- Teamwork skills for achieving common goals
- Displays responsibility and reliability
- Identifying problems and developing solutions
- Proactive approach to work responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred - Spanish
- Strong mechanical abilities (welding, fabrication, knowledge of tools, etc.)
- Previous maintenance background
