Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for a 57-unit apartment community in Milwaukee, responsible for timely completion of routine repairs, maintenance requests, and work orders. Performs make-ready repairs, assess and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, interiors; including carpentry, painting, drywall. Conducts preventative maintenance, interior/exterior rounds, and maintains records of preventive maintenance and work orders. Provides excellent customer service to residents and staff. On-call rotation required.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Trade school certificate(s) in electrical, plumbing, maintenance preferred
- Solid knowledge of general maintenance and repairs. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, electrical, painting, carpentry, dry wall.
- Excellent customer service and effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Valid Driver License.
