Job Summary
Maintenance Worker performs a range of technical maintenance duties including HVAC repairs, plumbing, light carpentry/construction, and irrigation repairs. Works with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the property clean, safe, and appealing, attends morning staff meetings, communicates with management and staff, maintains grounds and common areas, reports maintenance concerns, performs repairs, operates equipment, and may drive maintenance trucks. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, 1-3 years of technical experience, and a valid driver’s license. On-call availability is required. The role supports Equity LifeStyle Properties’ resort communities and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of direct technical work experience in HVAC, irrigation repairs, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance
- Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours
