Maintenance Leadman

Leadman overseeing plant operations in a rendering facility, supervising subordinates, and ensuring efficient production and quality of finished products. Responsible for maintaining hourly production schedules, evaluating and correcting mechanical problems, and communicating issues to the foreman, plant manager, or maintenance manager. Maintains/process quality control logs, enforces safety rules, investigates accidents with recommendations to the Plant Safety Committee, and ensures compliance with company safety and environmental standards. Requires ability to operate all plant production equipment to a high standard, strong organizational and supervisory skills, and effective written and oral communication. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, at least 3 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience, and 2 years of supervisory experience; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
