Maintenance Lead Technician

Job Summary
Lead Technician responsible for maintenance of manufacturing floor machinery and support for lean/continuous improvement projects. Duties include installing and inspecting machinery and electrical equipment on the floor, troubleshooting/repairing equipment to minimize downtime, performing brazing, welding, and basic fabrication, inspecting in-process and finished products for quality compliance, and using standard tools for preventative maintenance. Must be able to read blueprints/drawings, work on production machinery, and lift 50-75 lbs. 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm) with overtime as needed; climate-controlled environment; Mueller Industries–Turbotec Newton site.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 3-5 years' experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Good fine motor skills, hand dexterity
