Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Technician responsible for preparing Market Ready apartments, performing routine interior and exterior community maintenance (painting, repairs, cleaning, groundskeeping), responding to resident service requests, and ensuring safety and compliance. Must have advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems with HVAC certification; strong customer service and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; flexible schedule including on-call, weekends, and holidays. Role supports property-wide maintenance across multiple GA communities and involves coordinating with vendors, maintaining privacy, and upholding OSHA and fair housing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Must be HVAC certified.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for assisting residents.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including on-call hours, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 3+ years of prior maintenance experience (preferred).
- HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications are preferred.
