Job Summary
Lead Maintenance Technician at Arcan Capital responsible for preparing market-ready apartments and performing routine interior/exterior maintenance, repairs, and groundskeeping to ensure quality move-in experiences. Performs plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical tasks, responds to resident service requests, adheres to safety/OSHA guidelines, coordinates with maintenance supervisor and vendors, and supports a positive living environment through strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for assisting residents.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including on-call hours, weekends, and holidays.
- 3+ years of prior maintenance experience.
- HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications are preferred.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on property needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
