Maintenance Lead

Job Summary
Maintenance Lead at Mattr/Xerxes division leads preventive maintenance program implementation, oversees maintenance team priorities and work order execution, coordinates with external contractors, supports equipment installation and commissioning, collaborates with Plant Engineering and Equipment Design teams on CI initiatives, and upholds safety culture and 5S practices. Requires Journeyman/Red Seal Millwright or Industrial Mechanic (or equivalent) with at least 3 years in industrial/manufacturing settings; CMMS proficiency; strong leadership and communication skills; and ability to mentor maintenance technicians. Role based in Tipton, IA with in-person responsibilities and on-call support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright or Industrial Mechanic or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Industrial mechanical training preferred
- Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing production demands
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide maintenance technicians
