Job Summary
Maintenance Lead supervises preventive maintenance and repairs to uphold hotel maintenance quality standards, covering for the Chief Engineer during vacations. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the pool area and exercise room, keeping grounds free of visible trash and thoroughly cleaning parking areas, reporting problems affecting guest satisfaction, maintaining stockrooms and inventory (including linens and supplies), ensuring exterior lights function, identifying and addressing safety hazards, and completing maintenance tickets in a timely fashion while coordinating with housekeeping and other hotel operations. The role involves ensuring sufficient supplies for each floor, keeping storage areas orderly, and performing other duties as assigned to support hotel operations and guest experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience preferred
- An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
