Job Summary
Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner while complying with GMPs, HSE programs, and OSHA guidelines. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, evaluate facilities for needed repairs, and utilize the CMMS to order parts and complete work orders. Inspect team performance, train members on troubleshooting techniques and PMs, and develop revisions to work procedures. Collaborate with the maintenance manager to plan assignments, prioritize tasks, and coordinate safety meetings. Maintain the work area using Lean Manufacturing techniques and log training time and materials for inventory. Shifts run Monday-Friday evenings with OT as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Communicates effectively and respectfully with all Natures Bakery employees and contractors, maintaining professional working relationships
- Complies with all Company and Plant policies and procedures including conformance to the facilities' Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Health Safety Environmental (HSE) programs
- Ensures all OSHA guidelines are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to leadership immediately
- Validates the use of the Plants' lockout tagout procedures, job rotation program, etc. as needed
- Develops and completes revisions of work procedures in partnership with the maintenance manager
- Trains maintenance team members on procedures and equipment verifying that PM's and best practices are being performed
- Maintains the entire work area in a neat, safe, and orderly fashion using Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Evaluates equipment or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment as needed
- Works with maintenance manager/ planner to plan and prioritize work, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks
- Assesses building systems to plan work assignments
- Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members skills and experience
- Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to order parts, complete work orders, and assist with work planning effectively
