Job Summary
Lead the maintenance team to ensure reliable plant equipment and facility operation by overseeing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, repairs, and staff supervision. Manage CMMS and work management systems while ordering parts and controlling inventory needs. Train and schedule maintenance personnel, assist in reviewing metrics, and participate in continuous improvement efforts and on-call rotations. Adhere to food safety standards, HACCP-GMP-SQF, and Good Manufacturing Practices while working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Basic computer and Email skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around production equipment, sanitation chemicals, and varying temperatures
- Ability to prioritize and work productively in a multi-tasking environment
- Ability and willingness to learn several associated jobs
- Proper personal protective equipment compliance (hairnets, clean clothes, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Food industry and HVAC experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Strong mechanical/electrical/engineering aptitude
- HVAC-R helpful
- Good troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- Detailed-oriented and accurate
- Ability to lead a team/strong supervisory and people skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Project management
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English
